The Overlapping Images and the Recurring Accidents

This series of film photography documents the imprint of the first stroke of pandemic on my life, during which I experienced lock-down of my college in the United States, taking an international flight back home, and quarantine in hotel for fourteen days in China. It was a period of both heightened social tension and psychological stress. Life was confined and repetitive. Among the repetitions, however, accidents can easily happen, breaking the routine yet creating another meaning of repetition. I try to capture this experience through photographing my daily surroundings, seeing this as an unusual, very rare even, experiment of human life.
